Dr. Arthur Onyuka

Dr. Arthur Onyuka is a Senior Research Scientist at Kenya Industrial Research and Development Institute (KIRDI) and is currently the National Designated Entity (NDE) focal point responsible for coordinating climate change technology activities for Climate Technology and Network (CTCN), the operational arm of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Technology Mechanism. He holds a PhD in Leather and Waste Management from the University of Northampton (UK). Prior to joining KIRDI, Onyuka worked at E-Leather Company (UK) as the Quality Control Technologist where he was involved in quality control, environmental and waste management activities. He worked as a Research Assistant (Innovation Fellowship) at the University of Northampton where his work focused on clean technology processes in the leather manufacturing process.
